Whaaat, you’re asking?! Am I dreamin’? Beer, camping, grass and gardens? Yep, you can believe it! BrewCamp at The Oregon Garden is nirvana in the truest sense. It’s a festival weekend consisting of a lot of craft beer combined with plentiful camping and the best music to kickoff your Oregon summer!
You may not know this gem of a festival has been going on for thirteen years but that’s true, too. Formerly known as Brewfest, it has been the best kept secret in the Willamette Valley, in the sweet little town of Silverton.
But come Father’s Day weekend this year, we’re pulling out all the stops. I mean, where else can you taste plentiful craft beer to your heart’s content; roam 80 acres of diverse and meandering gardens; listen to the best music between two stages; sleep out under the stars and then do it all over the next day? Ok, now you know why we’ve renamed it Oregon Garden BrewCamp!
Here’s the scene: acres and acres of botanical garden full of artful and whimsical surprises; craft beer tasting over three days (yep, because there’re that many great beers to taste, and ciders, too); wine tasting (for those who prefer grapes over hops); not one, but two music stages with a diverse and impressive musical lineup that will knock your socks off (because barefoot dancing is best!); heaps of yard games (yay corn hole!); outdoor yoga; tubing (down the hill); good food morning, noon, and night; home brewing demos; garden workshops; tie-dye workshops; fun stuff for the kids; late-night campfire jams (wooden instruments rock!); camping for tents, trailers and RVs; lots of fresh air; the stunning colors of Oregon’s summer sunrises and sunsets; and so much more!
Best of all, Brewcamp is less than an hour’s drive from Portland and just 20 minutes from Salem. It’s going to be a multi-day blowout that you won’t want to miss and the best fest to kickoff your summer—Father’s Day weekend, June 15–17, 2018 at The Oregon Garden. Stay tuned to this site for our music and brewery lineups, announced soon.
And don’t forget to spread the word about your new favorite compound word, BrewCamp!
